Our Team

Mrs Michaela began her dance training at age 8, with School of Dance Arts, (Inverness, FL) from 2004-2011. Training in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Pointe, and Acrobatics. In 2011 she transferred to Benson Academy of Dance, (Ocala, FL) where she continued with Ballet. She was accepted as a company member into the Marion Ballet Theatre where she performed as a corps and soloist dancer in productions such as, Peter and The Wolf, The Nutcracker Ballet, and Cinderella. Dance achievements include, Gold with Distinction medals with The American Ballet Performance Awards competition. Florida Dance Masters honorable mention Jazz recipient. Michaela has spent her summers training with Christian dance companies including, Ballet Magnificat, and Ad Deum Dance Company. In 2013 Michaela was hired with RWS and Associates as a performer in a national holiday show. She began her teaching in 2009, and was invited in 2013 to become a faculty member of Benson Dance Academy instructing Jazz, Hip Hop, and acrobatics. In May of 2014 Michaela became the proud owner of Reflections Dance (Lecanto FL) after a very successful 9 years Mrs Michaela sold that company to her Protegé in April 2023. Since 2017 she has been a proud employee and partner of Star Dance Alliance working in backstage, client care, and registration.
Michaela looks forward to bringing her talents in passions here to Ocala with a studio who’s focus is committed to character and devoted to excellence.

Karl Forbes began his dance training at the age of 11. He pursued his
passion for dance through school and local dance company programs. He
joined The Marion Ballet Theater and the Benson Academy of Dance where he
studied jazz, tap, modern, ballet, contemporary and pointe. Karl has
performed in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Swan Lake. At
the age of 16 he underwent a summer’s choreography and dance studies
sponsorship in the style of modern, hip hop, and jazz at The Alvin Alley
American Dance Theater in New York. Specializing in hip hop dance he joined
the MCCA program at West Port high school conducting talent shows, pep
rallies, and seasonal dance performances as a freshman to a senior
graduate. We would also like to thank Karl for his service in the United
States Army. Karl is happily married to his beautiful high school
sweetheart. They have two wonderful children and one on the way!
His love for hip hop drives him to teach the younger generation where he
hopes to inspire students to find their own passion in the world of dance.

Laura Wahba started dancing at 3 years old at Starz Dance Company in
Orlando, Florida and continued to learn Ballet, Tap and Jazz at the
University of Performing Arts Center until she was 8 years old. After
taking a break, Laura got back into dance during high school at Reflections
dance in Lecanto, FL as well as School of Dance Arts in Inverness, FL
taking Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. During the time she was not attending
a studio she stayed active in her church community, performing in various
shows showcasing dance and acting. With a great appreciation for the fine
arts, she can’t wait to pass on her love for dance and movement to the next
generation of dancers.

Juliana Landry began dancing in 2006 in Ocala, Florida, receiving training
in ballet, lyrical, and jazz. At the age of twelve, she fell in love with
ballet and soon shifted her focus to strictly training in classical ballet.
During this time, Juliana was able to attend a summer intensive as well as
numerous private lessons offered by The Joffrey Ballet. She participated in
various workshops and intensives with many different professional
companies, including Ballet Magnificat. After graduating high school,
Juliana received her Associate of Arts in Dance at Santa Fe College,
studying under the direction of Jessie Dominguez, Alora Haynes, and
Mellissa Brenner while receiving training in ballet, modern, jazz, and
dance composition. At Santa Fe College, she was awarded the Fine Arts
Scholarship for her dancing abilities, work ethics, and leadership
qualities. Throughout her years of training, Juliana was able to perform
numerous principal and soloist roles in various productions, including
Paquita and Giselle. She hopes to share her great love for dance with her
students, whether they are returning dancers or just beginning their dance
journey for the first time.
